Source: Cbank to ban staff to use, buy Apple devices for work soon

MOSCOW, Dec 5 (PRIME) -- The Russian central bank will forbid its employees from using Apple phones and tablets for work and will not buy them for its needs, a c told PRIME on Tuesday.

“Starting from December 25, the employees will be banned from using Apple mobile devices for work,” the source said quoting the order of the regulator’s Chairwoman Elvira Nabiullina.

According to the 2022 report, the central bank employed 44,568 people.

Some state agencies have already prohibited Apple devices for corporate purposes.
